Générale’s Global Business Technology & Operations (GBTO) delivers cutting-edge IT platforms supporting fast-growing trading businesses across global markets.

Within GBTO, the Market Making Technology team builds and operates high-performance, in-house trading systems powering pricing, hedging, risk and execution across European exchanges and global locations (Frankfurt, Paris, London, HK, New York).

This role is for developing an in-house order management system to replace a vendor solution, as well as to extend and support the application afterwards. The system will run in multiple locations (Europe, Asia, North America), processing millions of orders per day in a highly demanding near-real-time environment. The application communicates with a multitude of internal and external APIs, thus positioning this role at the core of a huge ecosystem.

You will join a team of highly skilled engineers working on development of the order management system, aiming to continuously improve performance, scale, reliability and capabilities of a mission-critical, low-latency platform.

This position reports to the Head of Market Making Technology Development Team.
