\u00A0ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:\u00A0

Under the general direction of the cellar manager and winemaking staff, this position will give the chance to lead in the following duties: \u00A0

Forklifting \u2013 unloading and loading fruit, safely driving barrels\u00A0
Harvest duties \u2013 sorting, destemming, pressing, etc.\u00A0
Additions \u2013 yeast, acid, nutrients, etc.\u00A0
Barrel work \u2013 cleaning, steaming, filling, emptying, and topping\u00A0
Tank work - racking, transferring/blending both juice and wine\u00A0
Sampling \u2013 obtain grape, juice, and/or wine samples\u00A0
Bottling \u2013 help with bottling if need arises\u00A0
Communicate effectively with supervisor and other staff \u00A0
Cleaning of both equipment and facility\u00A0
Other duties as assigned\u00A0

JOB REQUIREMENTS:\u00A0\u00A0Essential Skills and Experience

Must have at least 2 previous harvest experiences.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment and have a sense of pride in your work.
Previous harvest and beverage production experience is desired but not required. Some forklift experience is highly desired.
Must be able to work varying shifts and overtime, including weekends, as needed, particularly during the peak of the harvest season.
Must be able to communicate in English effectively.
Must be able to work in the US and have legal transportation.
