Description Job Summary***This is an onsite role in the Code 3 office in St. Louis.***The IT Support Intern will gain meaningful, hands-on experience supporting the technology that keeps our teams connected and productive. In this role, you will work alongside experienced IT professionals to troubleshoot user issues, set up and maintain hardware, support account and system administration tasks, and contribute to day-to-day IT operations. This internship is a great opportunity for a curious, service-minded student or recent graduate to build practical technical skills, learn how enterprise IT support operates, and make a visible impact in a collaborative office environment.Essential Responsibilities and FunctionsAssist with setup, configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other hardwareProvide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issuesSupport user account management, password resets, and access permissionsHelp maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licensesAssist with installation, updates, and maintenance of operating systems and applicationsSupport basic system administration tasks in Windows and cloud-based environmentsParticipate in onboarding and offboarding activities, including workstation setup and account provisioningDocument technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and support ticketsEscalate unresolved technical issues to appropriate IT staff and assist with follow-throughAssist with cybersecurity best practices, system patching, and antivirus maintenanceAssist with conference room technology, audiovisual systems, and meeting supportCollaborate with IT staff on projects, upgrades, and process improvementsPerform other related duties as assignedQualifications to SucceedCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related fieldBasic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking conceptsExperience with Active Directory, ticketing systems, remote support tools, or endpoint management tools preferredFamiliarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and common business applicationsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service abilitiesAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasksDemonstrates professionalism, initiative, and a strong customer-service mindsetEagerness to learn new technologies and systemsPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
