This position reports to:
Logistics Operation Manager__
The work model for the role is: onsite.
Key responsibilities
In this role, you will take responsibility for Warehouse Management System (WMS) administration and serve as a logistics expert in an innovative logistics environment.
This role is contributing to the ELSB/KL - Logistics Department in Heidelberg, Germany. Main stakeholders are sales, distribution, quality and production.
You will be mainly accountable for:
System administration of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) as Key Account User and Power User
1st Level Support for technical defects, system failures, and IT hardware issues
Analysis and resolution of booking issues, quality complaints, and customer claims
Inventory analyses and optimization as well as material flow analyses
Creation of performance and capacity reporting
You will join a highly motivated team, where you will be able to to develop professionally and make autonomous decisions within your area of responsibility.
Qualifications for the role
Proven experience supporting WMS implementation in a project manager function or comparable role
Several years of practical experience with Warehouse Management Systems as a Power User / Administrator of WMS (master data, customizing, configuration)
Database knowledge and coding/programming understanding
Proven experience in process planning and optimization in logistics environments
Experience with performance and capacity analyses and reporting
High IT affinity with in-depth technical knowledge
Independent and structured work approach
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
Communication strength between technical and logistics teams
Stress resilience and willingness to support during critical system outages
Affinity for continuous improvement (KVP)
