We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician with strong knowledge of Caterpillar (CAT) machinery. The technician will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy construction/mining equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation and minimal downtime.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair CAT construction and heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, and skid steers.Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, transmissions, and powertrains.Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, component replacements, and equipment rebuilds.Use CAT Electronic Technician (CAT ET), SIS, diagnostic tools, and service manuals.Complete field-service and shop repairs as required.Document repairs, parts used, labor hours, and inspection findings.Follow manufacturer specifications and company safety procedures.Communicate equipment status and repair recommendations to supervisors and customers.RequirementsQualificationsAt least 3 years of experience repairing CAT or comparable heavy equipment.Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and powertrains.Experience using CAT ET or similar diagnostic software preferred.Ability to read electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and technical manuals.Ability to independently diagnose and resolve mechanical problems.BenefitsCompetitive payMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysWe are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician with strong knowledge of Caterpillar (CAT) machinery.
