Job description
We’re looking for a Go Backend Software Engineer to help design, build, and operate backend services and infrastructure APIs for a large‑scale, sovereign cloud platform. You’ll work across cloud‑native distributed systems, Kubernetes, databases, and CI/CD tooling to ensure a secure, scalable, and highly available environment.

Requirements:
Extensive hands-on experience with Go (Golang) development.
Proven track record of building and maintaining high-performance, large-scale APIs or microservices.
Strong knowledge of distributed architectures, concurrency, networking principles, and database concepts.
Practical experience with Kubernetes, containerized environments, monitoring/observability solutions, and CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve performance, stability, and production-related issues.
Good communication skills in English; German language skills are an advantage.
Nice to have:
Familiarity with integrating AI-powered tools into everyday development processes.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Go.
Continuously enhance the performance, reliability, and maintainability of existing systems.
Design and implement APIs while enabling seamless communication across distributed services.
Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-making to ensure high-quality solutions.
