Role Overview This role is responsible for leading the evaluation, structuring, funding, and execution of investment and M&A transactions across the Group’s portfolio. The position will focus on end-to-end deal execution (not origination), ensuring all acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic investments are commercially sound, well-structured, and effectively funded.RequirementsKey Responsibilities Deal Evaluation & Execution (A–Z)Lead end-to-end execution of acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, and strategic investmentsEvaluate opportunities including landbank acquisitions, development projects, JV structures and other non-property dealsBuild and review detailed financial models (GDV, IRR, NPV, sensitivity analysis)Conduct feasibility studies covering development costs, timelines, pricing, and profitabilityManage and coordinate due diligence (financial, legal, tax, technical, market)Structure transactions and support negotiations of key commercial termsOversee documentation process including SPA, JV agreements, and financing agreementsCorporate Finance & FundingLead funding strategies for land acquisition and development projectsStructure and secure project financing, bridging loans, and corporate debtManage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and capital partnersEvaluate optimal capital structure at project and group levelSupport equity structuring for JV partners and investors where applicableStrategic Financial AnalysisPartner with development, project, and commercial teams to assess project viabilityProvide financial insights on pricing strategies, phasing, and development timelinesSupport portfolio optimization, including asset recycling and divestmentsMonitor market trends, financing conditions, and regulatory changes impacting property sectorPost-Deal & Project MonitoringTrack performance of investments against approved feasibility and returnsMonitor cash flow, cost deviations, and project profitabilityEnsure alignment with investment thesis and flag risks earlyGovernance & Stakeholder ManagementPrepare investment papers, board presentations, and approval documentationEnsure compliance with internal governance, regulatory, and financing requirementsLiaise with external advisors (banks, lawyers, valuers, consultants)Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, or related field (MBA/CPA/CA preferred)8–15 years of experience in Corporate Finance, M&A, Investment Banking, or Property DevelopmentProven track record in executing transactions and managing funding processesStrong financial modelling skillsFamiliarity with project financing structures and banking requirementsStrong stakeholder management and negotiation skillsAbility to work closely with cross-functional teams (development, legal, project)Role Overview This role is responsible for leading the evaluation, structuring, funding, and execution of investment and M&A transactions across the Group’s portfolio.
