About the Team

  • As a Global Beta Tester at Toss, you’ll work closely with teams in charge of services for global markets.
  • Toss is working to bring its vision of “making finance simple and intuitive for everyone” to users beyond Korea. Our goal is to build services that feel natural and relevant in each market, grounded in a deep understanding of local users, cultures, and contexts.
  • Understanding local markets and users is essential to succeeding globally. We’re looking for people who can draw on their firsthand experience using financial services in different markets, provide candid feedback from a user’s perspective, and help us create a better experience for users around the world.

What You’ll do

  • Use the Toss app from the perspective of an international user and check that its features and services work properly and reliably
  • Identify bugs, errors, and areas for improvement, document the steps to reproduce them, and share your findings with the product team
  • Suggest insights and ideas that can help make Toss more appealing and useful to users in global markets

Depending on the project’s needs and your experience, you may also take on the following responsibilities

  • Participate in interviews or surveys with international users to better understand how they use financial apps, what they need, and where they experience friction
  • Research the features and user experiences of financial apps in other markets and identify key differentiators and best practices
  • Review copy and wording in the Toss app to ensure they feel natural and culturally appropriate for local users, and suggest improvements where needed

We’re Looking For Someone Who…

  • Holds a valid visa or other residence status that legally permits them to work 25-40 hours per week in Korea
  • Owns a smartphone and is comfortable using mobile financial apps
  • Has firsthand experience opening a bank account or using financial services outside of Korea
  • Can communicate effectively for work in either Korean or English and can clearly document findings
  • Has a keen eye for issues identified and clearly document them in a reproducible way and proactively share their findings

Important Information

  • This is a three-month fixed-term contract starting from your first day of employment. The contract period may be adjusted or extended by mutual agreement.
  • Working days and hours will be determined by mutual agreement.
  • As a general rule, remote work is not available for this position.
