About the Role

AsTeacher of Geography, you will teach acrossKey Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to contribute toKS5depending on experience. The curriculum is designed to develop students’ understanding of both physical and human geography while building analytical, evaluative and data interpretation skills.

Students study a range of topics including:

  • Tectonic processes and natural hazards

  • Climate, ecosystems and environmental change

  • Rivers, coasts and landscapes

  • Urban development and globalisation

  • Population change and global development

Lessons are structured to help students think like geographers—analysing data, evaluating case studies and developing evidence-based arguments.

You will work closely with colleagues in the Humanities department to plan lessons, share resources and ensure that students experience a well-sequenced curriculum that supports long-term understanding.
