Job description
The candidate for this position will be expected and able to complete the following responsibilities: Be involved with multiple facets of new Silicon software and support including FPGA prototyping, including system design/selection, adapting Firmware baselines, debugging, performance analysis, High level operating system debug, and development of scripts to automate the process. Throughout the program you may be interacting with architects for feature definition, various design teams for leverage and collaboration, software teams, firmware teams, and system teams for requirements. Do you have a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience OR Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience OR equivalent experience Experience in Silicon bringup, Boot flow, Firmware and Operating system debug Experience with working across diverse teams resulting in the development of complex hardware designs Familiarity with lab test equipment, including high speed DSO, logic, and network analyzers Familiarity with silicon design flows and RTL design Demonstrated proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, TCL, etc. Experience with Linux Operating System and User mode Apps Experience in Windows Operating System and user mode apps Experience in requirements gathering and specification of complex hardware designs Experience with silicon bring-up and debug Experience with Firmware Boot systems like UBOOT and UEFI
