Food Runner

The Food Runner is responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to guest tables quickly, accurately, and professionally. The role requires close coordination with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely delivery, correct presentation, and high standards of guest service, hygiene, and food handling.RequirementsResponsibilitiesDeliver food orders from the kitchen to guest tables promptly and accurately.Verify table numbers, order details, and food presentation before serving.Coordinate closely with kitchen staff, waiters, and supervisors to ensure smooth service.Assist in clearing and resetting tables when required.Maintain proper handling of food to ensure quality, temperature, and presentation standards.Follow food safety, hygiene, and basic service procedures at all times.Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and food pickup areas.Inform service staff of any delays, missing items, or special guest requests.Support the F&B team during busy service periods to ensure efficient operations.Provide courteous and professional service to guests when interacting with them.RequirementsMinimum 1 year of experience as a Food Runner or in a similar F&B service role, preferably in 4 or 5-star hotels or established restaurants.Experience in delivering food from the kitchen to guest tables quickly and accurately.Good knowledge of table numbers, menu items, food handling, hygiene, and basic service standards.Must be able to communicate effectively in English.Good coordination and teamwork skills with kitchen and service teams.Good grooming, personal hygiene, and a professional attitude.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Must have a valid Qatar ID.Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate.The Food Runner is responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to guest tables quickly, accurately, and professionally.
