FLOFORM Countertops is a Canadian company with its head office in Winnipeg, MB and has 17 Showrooms and 8 fabricating facilities located in Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest. FLOFORM manufactures, sells and installs over 20,000 premium surface countertops a year.\u00A0 Established in 1961, FLOFORM is proud to be one of Canada\u2019s Best Managed Companies.\u00A0Position Summary:\u00A0The Install Assistant will assist in the installation of countertop orders.

Desired Skills & Experience:\u00A0

• No experience necessary we will train the right person
• Countertop Installation or Construction experience is a plus
• Ability to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and respect
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and quality
• Effective communication skills
• Basic mathematical skills
• Have a positive attitude and solid work ethic
• Possess a valid driver\u2019s license
• Required to pass a criminal record check
• Be able to carry upwards of 100 lbs - 200 lbs assisted
• Regular bending, twisting, and kneeling
• Local travel with occasional out of town travel
• Be available\u00A0to work overtime as required

Duties and Responsibilities:\u00A0

• Assists installer with complete installation of countertops, while maintaining a professional demeanor
• Assists cleanly remove the existing countertop and plumbing if required\u00A0
• Responds to customer inquiries and /or concerns while on the job site
• Troubleshoot technical problems related to the installation as they arise
• Works as closely to the schedule as possible and contact customer if running behind
• Maintains company vehicle interior and exterior to the company\u2019s standards\u00A0
• Runs errands as they arise while at the job site ex. picking up missing pieces or tools from shop
• Cross training on Jr. Installer tasks as training evolves and as needed
• Other Duties as assigned
