This role is based at their regional headquarters in Balakong, offering a stable yet dynamic environment for a finance professional looking to lead a dedicated team.Job SummaryThe Finance Manager will lead the finance and accounting functions for a key subsidiary, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, tax compliance, and strategic cash flow management. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller/CFO, you will be instrumental in optimizing internal controls and leading the department through digital transitions, including e-Invoicing implementation.Job ResponsibilitiesFinancial Leadership: Oversee full sets of accounts and ensure the timely submission of comprehensive financial and management reports.Strategic Planning: Lead the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and detailed variance analysis to guide business decisions.Cash & Credit Management: Manage company cash flow to ensure fund efficiency and adequate working capital, while overseeing credit control functions.Regulatory Compliance: Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and bankers to ensure 100% compliance with statutory requirements, SST regulations, and audit standards.Internal Controls: Evaluate and implement effective financial controls to improve accounting operational processes and data integrity.Digital Transformation: Oversee full compliance with LHDN e-Invoice requirements, including system validation, reconciliation, and control monitoring.Team Management: Supervise, mentor, and motivate finance subordinates to ensure high performance and departmental efficiency.Stakeholder Reporting: Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support as requested by the Subsidiary Head and Group Finance leadership.RequirementsProfessional Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accountancy; professional certification (ACCA, CPA, MIA, or equivalent) is highly preferred.Experience: Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in financial management, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.Technical Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), SST, and current LHDN e-Invoicing guidelines.Leadership: Proven experience in managing a team and interacting with senior corporate leadership.Software Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel; experience in system implementation or upgrades is an advantage.Location: Ability to work on-site at the headquarters in Balakong.
