Financial & Accounting OperationsOversee the full spectrum of accounting functions (GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, month-end and year-end closing)Ensure accurate and timely preparation of management accounts and financial reportsMaintain proper accounting records in compliance with internal policies and applicable accounting standards2. Project & Cost Management (Construction / Property Development)Monitor project costing, budget utilization, and work-in-progress (WIP) accountingConduct variance analysis between budget vs actual project performanceSupport project teams in financial tracking and cost control measures3. Budgeting, Forecasting & ReportingLead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processesPrepare management reports, financial analysis, and performance insights for decision-makingHighlight key financial risks and opportunities to management4. Cash Flow & Treasury ManagementManage cash flow planning to ensure sufficient liquidity for project operationsMonitor collections, payments, and funding requirements for ongoing developments5. Compliance & Internal ControlEnsure compliance with internal control policies and proceduresCoordinate with auditors, tax agents, and external stakeholders for audit and statutory requirements6. Leadership & Stakeholder ManagementSupervise and guide the Finance & Accounts team to ensure efficient daily operationsWork closely with project, procurement, and operations teamsLiaise with bankers, auditors, and other external partiesRequirementsRecognised Degree/Diploma in Accounting & Finance, or professional qualification (ACCA / MACPA / CIMA or equivalent)Minimum 5–8 years’ relevant experience in finance and accountingAt least 3 years in a managerial role, handling full spectrum finance/accounting functionsExperience in property development / construction accounting is highly preferredStrong knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and project financial analysisMandarin proficiency is preferred to communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
