Field Service Valve Technician

Summary:

As the Field Service Valve Technician, you will be responsible for traveling to customer sites and servicing, testing, adjusting, trouble-shooting, repairing, maintenance, removal, installation and inspection of safety and relief valves. Factory training and certification will be provided to the successful candidate. Overtime and travel required at short notice.

Qualifications:

• Must be willing to travel for work when necessary
• Mechanical experience necessary/Electrical experience considered an asset
• Demonstrate sound judgement with the ability to make decisions and corrections when problems are detected
• Able to make accurate and intelligible reports (written and verbal)
• Previous experience with measurement devices and test gauges considered an asset
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Able to assume responsibility and handle multiple tasks under potentially stressful and/or hazardous conditions
• Excellent organizational and customer relation skills
• Must have pride in workmanship
• Must be able to obtain Controlled Goods and ISED Security Clearance as a condition of employment
• Offshore Certifications would be an asset
