What You Can Expect

The Technical Support Coordinator is the first point of contact for all hard and soft facility services. With a strong interest in technical, hospitality and facility management, you are hands-on, service-minded, and focused on finding practical solutions.

You identify and solve issues where possible, contact and guide suppliers when needed, and discuss the best way forward with the Facility & EHSS Manager. You also support maintenance, small projects, visitors, access badges, meetings, and general facility tasks.

The role combines general technical knowledge, coordination, and a strong focus on keeping the facility safe, clean and welcoming for employees, visitors, and suppliers. This individual is part of the Facilities Team of The Netherlands and will be a back-up for his/ her colleagues when they are absent. The Technical Support Coordinator will report to the Facility & EHSS Manager.

How You'll Create Impact

General

  • Identify bottlenecks, communicate issues, and proactively contribute to solutions.
  • Resolve problems whenever possible and escalate issues when required.
  • Inform, schedule, and coordinate suppliers.
  • Receive and accompany internal and external visitors.
  • Support purchasing, invoicing, and other administrative tasks.
  • Provide subject matter expertise (SME) input for projects.
  • Ensure that temporary and personal access badges are issued as required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of materials and equipment in the relevant systems.
  • Stay up to date with applicable regulations and requirements.

Hard Service

  • Ensure that the asset register is maintained in accordance with NEN 2767
  • A general understanding of building services, including: B- Building/ Construction, W - Mechanical, E - Electrical, T - Transport Installations
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and contact suppliers for follow-up and resolution.
  • Coordinate technical building maintenance and repairs.
  • Execute and/ or coordinate small facility projects.

Soft Service

  • The first point of contact for visitors and suppliers.
  • Oragnize and participate in operational meetins with in-house suppliers.
  • Monitor the overall condition and functionality of the facilities.
  • Perform a variety of general handyman and facility related tasks.
  • Arrange meeting room setups as required.
  • Conduct weekly hospitality/ facility/ EHSS rounds.

Your Background

  • Completed training/ education in a technical or facilities direction
  • Knowledge of and experience with light administrative activities.
  • Experience within the facility management-working field.
  • Experience in the above mentioned tasks & responsibilites.
  • IT Literate (MS Office)
  • In possession of or prepared to follow a BHV course.
  • Good demand of the Dutch and English language, both verbal and written.
