In this role, you will lead and oversee the safety, health, and environmental programs, ensuring compliance, minimizing risks, and fostering a culture of prevention and continuous improvement.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemical Science, or a related field.Requirements:Minimum 10 years of experience in the manufacturing (Maquiladora) industry.5 years in an EHS management role.Regulatory compliance with OSHA 1910, local, and international environmental standards.Expertise in ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems and continuous improvement methodologies.Preferred certifications: Lead Auditor ISO 14001, HazMat DOT, RCRA, OSHA 40 HR.Knowledge:Hazardous waste management, spill prevention, and pollution control programs.Familiarity with safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.Ability to develop and implement safety policies and training programs.Competencies:Analytical and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects.Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities.Proactive approach to driving a strong safety culture.Ability to adapt to fast-paced, high-growth environments.Responsibilities:Environmental – ISO 14001:Lead and enhance the ISO 14001 system, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.Manage environmental programs and ensure alignment with local and international regulations.Serve as the main liaison with regulatory agencies and other stakeholders.Organize environmental training programs and maintain compliance records.Advise management on regulatory updates and environmental policies.Oversee pollution prevention and waste management strategies.Develop and conduct training sessions on environmental compliance.Collaborate on hazardous waste management strategies and spill prevention plans.Document activities and generate technical reports on environmental performance.Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA 1910, local, and international environmental standards.Occupational Health & Safety:Design and implement occupational health and safety programs for the plant.Represent the company before regulatory authorities, ensuring full compliance.Lead incident and accident investigations, implementing corrective and preventive actions.Conduct and oversee safety audits and inspections, identifying improvement areas.Foster a strong safety culture through training sessions and engagement with safety committees.Ensure policies are current and aligned with local and international safety standards.What Client Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to work in an international, growing, and innovative company.Professional development and career growth opportunities.Dynamic work environment with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.Our client is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
