A Commercial/ Energy\u00A0Title Examiner. Energy Project Team (Remote, Contractor position) in the US. This person will be\u00A0responsible for\u00A0conducting comprehensive title searches,\u00A0identifying, and resolving defects, and ensuring that property titles are\u00A0clear and free from encumbrances for utility or construction projects.\u00A0Searching back to Patent or as far as the Integrity Title Plant goes.

• Serve as subject matter expert in\u00A0sovereignty\u00A0title, including examination,\u00A0mineral/royalty,\u00A0leasehold,\u00A0underwriting /curative\u00A0matters,\u00A0and title insurance requirements.
• Provide support as a trusted advisor and partner to our Energy teams and other internal partners, including the use of advanced technical and analytical skills to review mortgages, liens, legal descriptions, CC&Rs, easements,\u00A0mineral/royalty conveyances,\u00A0reservations, patents,\u00A0production, leasehold,\u00A0surveys sketches, surveys, right of ways maps and constructions plans.
• Assist\u00A0with preparation and review of instruments of conveyance and related documents for proper form, accuracy, appropriateness, and completeness, plot metes and\u00A0bounds\u00A0legal descriptions.\u00A0
• Resolve issues such as missing information, incomplete,\u00A0inaccurate,\u00A0or contradictory information contained in the\u00A0title\u00A0documentation.
• Prepare and/or review\u00A0initial\u00A0Energy Reports and/ or\u00A0title commitment, preliminary report or proforma based on the application of procedural guidelines.
