Job description

About the Team

We are looking for an Associate to join the Enterprise team. This person will support our Enterprise Account Managers with the day-to-day management, analytics, reporting, and operational execution for some of our largest enterprise and mid-market restaurant partners across New Zealand.

About the Role

The DoorDash Restaurant Enterprise team is responsible for the strategic vision and development of key restaurant merchants in Australia and New Zealand. DoorDash is a fast-moving company, so we are looking for someone who is adaptable, hard-working, a team player, a critical thinker, organised, and an optimistic problem solver. In this role you will support Enterprise Account Managers through analytics, reporting, operational workstreams, and cross-functional collaboration - turning data into commercial insights that shape how we grow our biggest restaurant partnerships.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Partner closely with Enterprise Account Managers to help manage and grow relationships with some of DoorDash’s most important restaurant partners across New Zealand.
  • Build trusted relationships with merchants, helping understand their priorities, solve problems and identify opportunities to improve their business on DoorDash.
  • Own strategic and operational workstreams end-to-end, from identifying the problem and figuring out what needs to happen through to coordinating the right teams and closing the loop.
  • Use data and commercial insight to drive decisions, turning performance trends and customer or merchant data into clear recommendations and actions.
  • Support commercial conversations and business reviews, helping prepare compelling presentations, recommendations and insights for merchant meetings and negotiations.
  • Work cross-functionally to get things done, partnering with teams across Operations, Product, Marketing, Support and Analytics to solve merchant challenges.
  • Balance strategic priorities with hands-on execution, keeping track of the many small but important actions that ensure our partners are successful.

We’re excited about you because…

  • You’re commercially curious and customer-focused, and genuinely enjoy understanding a partner’s business and figuring out how to make it better.
  • You have 1–3 years of experience in a fast-paced environment such as account management, partnerships, consulting, customer success, commercial operations, category management, FMCG/QSR, retail, hospitality, marketplaces or analytics.
  • You’re a strong problem solver who takes ownership — you don’t wait for a perfectly defined brief and are comfortable figuring out the next step when things are ambiguous.
  • You’re comfortable using data to make decisions and can translate analysis into a clear “so what” and practical business recommendation.
  • You’re a clear and confident communicator, able to build credibility with external partners and make complex information easy for stakeholders to understand and act on.
  • You’re highly organised and detail-oriented, able to prioritise competing demands and keep multiple workstreams moving without dropping the ball.
  • You’re a collaborative operator who can influence and coordinate across teams without formal authority and is happy to roll up your sleeves to get things done.
