Job detailsApplication formPay: $30-45/hrWhile we may not have an immediate opening, we're always looking to connect with exceptional engineers looking for future opportunities who thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and enjoy solving complex technical challenges!What you get to do:Support the build, integration, debugging, and testing of robotic subsystems, production hardware, and test fixturesWork closely with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to bring prototypes to life, maintain hardware, and support field deploymentsAssist with assembly of actuators, structure, and fluid systemsPerform harness builds, rework, and routing for development and production systemsTroubleshoot electro-mechanical assemblies and support root-cause investigationsAssist with hardware-in-the-loop test systems setup and maintenanceSupport engineers during prototype bring-up including mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, and basic plumbingMaintain a clean, organized lab space and manage tools and spare inventoryOccasionally support field deployments and hardware upgrades at customer sitesCollaborate with Production Coordinator to meet build timelines and production goalsWhat you will need:2+ years of hands-on technician or manufacturing experienceStrong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and light fabricationAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring schematics, and harness diagramsExperience with electro-mechanical assemblies including PCBAs, motors, actuators, and sensorsComfortable in a fast-paced R&D environment with evolving requirementsAttention to detail and a proactive, self-starting mindsetComfort switching between mechanical assembly, electrical troubleshooting, and basic plumbing — you may help an engineer debug a PCB one day, then route a harness or integrate a subsystem the nextBonus if you have experience with:Industrial crimping tools, D-sub and circular connectorsLow-voltage electrical systems and safe troubleshooting practices Test setups involving pumps, valves, or pneumaticsBasic Linux command line or Python scriptingSupporting prototype bring-up or field deploymentsOther things to know:We’re a fast-paced, hardware-heavy team that thrives on solving tough mechanical and electrical challenges in the real world.
