Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever. ### Position Summary Support, sustain, and improve production equipment performance through preventive maintenance, reliability improvement, and systematic problem solving during normal day shift operations. ### Responsibilities • Support, repair, upgrade, and sustain production equipment during normal day shift operations • Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Change Over activities to ensure equipment stability and readiness • Drive equipment reliability and quality improvements in collaboration with Engineers and Supervisors • Analyze machine failure mechanisms and recurrence trends using structured problem-solving methodologies • Reduce equipment downtime through preventive actions, permanent fixes, and improvement projects • Monitor and improve repair cycle time (MTTR) through continuous improvement initiatives • Participate in Empowerment & Autonomous Maintenance activities to enhance equipment ownership and discipline • Support documentation, standardization, and knowledge sharing for equipment best practices ### Requirements • Diploma in Electronics / Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering • Strong interest in semiconductor manufacturing and equipment engineering environment • Basic understanding of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability concepts • Ability to work cross-functionally and support improvement-focused activities ### Experience • 2–5 years of related equipment engineering or maintenance experience preferred • New college graduates with strong motivation and learning ability are welcome Job Profile(s): Engineering Technician 4 Relocation level: (TBD) Before Getting Started Please review Micron’s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
