This role offers a unique opportunity to guide a high-impact team responsible for the scalability, reliability, and performance of Healthie's most critical systems -- including billing, insurance, and payments infrastructure -- ensuring our platform continues to meet the needs of providers, patients, and partners as we grow.As an Engineering Manager for Core R&D, you’ll be accountable for driving execution within your squads, overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of core systems and services. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional business partners to translate requirements into scalable, performant solutions that power Healthie’s infrastructure and product experiences.Your responsibilities will include:Leading, mentoring, and coaching engineers within your squad to foster technical excellence, growth, and collaboration.Owning execution of your squad’s roadmaps, ensuring clear prioritization, accountability, and delivery of high-impact initiatives.Partnering with peers across Engineering and Product to shape architectural decisions, balance trade-offs, and drive long-term system reliability.Championing engineering best practices to deliver secure, performant, and maintainable code.Creating an environment where engineers feel empowered, supported, and motivated to do their best work.At Healthie, we are AI-enabled and AI-accelerated in how we build.
