Engineering Manager

Key roles: Lead and manage solar PV projects from inception to completion, ensuringadherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Oversee projectplanning, resource allocation and risk management. Provide day-to-day management of engineering teams, technical guidance tocommercial and engineering teams, assisting with complex engineeringchallenges, and promoting innovative solutions. Conduct solar resource assessments, shading analysis and performancesimulations using industry standard software. Assist in the evaluation ofsystem performance, identify opportunities for optimization and identify risks.Expert understanding of industrial electrical systems, experience in LV andMV, preparation of electrical drawings, calculations, and system design. Technical data gathering to ascertain feasibility of PV projects for prospectiveclients in industrial facilities. Oversee EPC tendering and contract processes. Knowledge of PLN permitting for solar PV projects. Participate in site visits to assess potential locations for solar PV installations,considering factors such as sun exposure, roof conditions and electricalinfrastructure. Assist in the preparation of technical drawings, layouts, SLD and specificationsfor solar PV systems in compliance with relevant codes, regulations andindustry standards. Procurement support: Lead the preparation for Request for Proposals for EPCproject detailing requirements, equipment, construction conditions and fullproject implementation including O&M to third party EPC contractors. Assure safety protocols and guidelines throughout project execution areimplemented. Participate in safety training and promote a culture of safetywithin the team. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to project activities,engineering calculations and reports. Collaborate with cross functional teams, engineering team, installation crewsand external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Stay up to date with advancements in solar PV technologies and industrytrends. Engage in continuous learning and professional developmentopportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge. Travel to job sites.RequirementsRequirement: Indonesian citizen Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, RenewableEnergy Engineering or related field. Minimum of 20 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, witha proven track record of successfully delivering more than 20 projects with adeep knowledge of EPC contracting. Experience in solar PV engineering is aplus. Advanced level of English is required. Able to operate Microsoft Office, Helioscope and PVSYST isa must. Able to operate major electrical software suites (Etap etc) to producenecessary design documents. In-depth knowledge of solar PV system design, gridintegration and advanced performance modeling.
