The team is remote-first, with an optional office in Riyadh, and brings together talent from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, the US, and beyond. The work is divided into two squads—one focused on Arabic machine learning (speech, NLP, TTS), the other on real-time voice agent infrastructure.RequirementsThe RoleAs Engineering Lead, you’ll report directly to the Co-founder & CTO and take ownership of the company’s technical roadmap, team development, and engineering culture. You’ll lead both ML and Infrastructure squads, tackling ambitious challenges like ultra-low-latency streaming, voice-to-text for Arabic, scalable backend systems, and real-time AI-human interactions.You’ll also collaborate closely with enterprise clients to deliver high-performing integrations and help establish technical best practices across the organization.ResponsibilitiesLead and grow two technical squads (ML and Agent Engineering)Own and evolve the system architecture with a focus on scalability and performanceStay hands-on when needed, especially around major releasesDrive engineering excellence through best practices, code reviews, and mentoringCollaborate with product and design teams to build new voice featuresSupport enterprise clients with onboarding, integration, and workflow optimizationFoster a culture of ownership, fast iteration, and continuous learningWhat We’re Looking For3+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership roleStrong backend experience, building distributed, low-latency, or real-time systemsProven track record of building or scaling infrastructure used in productionBonus: experience in voice technology, speech recognition, or deploying ML systemsExcellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersBenefitsWhat’s on OfferCompetitive compensation in SAR or USD, tailored to your experience and impactRemote-first environment — work from wherever you’re most productiveOptional workspace in Riyadh for those who prefer in-person collaborationCreative and technical ownership from day oneThe opportunity to define the technical standard for Arabic-language AIA supportive, fast-moving team that values curiosity, initiative, and collaborationReady to Build the Future?
