Join us as a Regional Category Buyer Buildings, Utilities and Facility Management (BUFM) within Purchasing@ContiTech.

In this role, you will drive BUFM procurement activities across the region with regularly global scope, ensuring efficient, compliant, and value-driven sourcing outcomes. You will collaborate closely with business and BUFM stakeholders and contribute to building a strong supplier base and procurement practices.

Your Tasks

As Regional Category Buyer BUFM, you will be responsible for managing sourcing activities across BUFM-related categories with a focus on quality, cost, and long-term value.

• Lead end-to-end BUFM sourcing projects, from demand definition to supplier selection and contract award
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (FM, Engineering and business functions) to structure requirements and define sourcing strategies
• Prepare and manage RFPs/RFQs and support contract negotiations with suppliers
• Drive supplier selection based on commercial, technical, and strategic criteria
• Manage and further develop supplier relationships, including performance monitoring where required
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, standards, and guidelines
• Identify and implement opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements
• Support the implementation of category strategies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
