Our DRAM Architecture organization works at the intersection of silicon, packaging, systems, and customers to build technologies that power next-generation platforms. If you enjoy solving ambiguous problems that matter at industry scale, this is the place. This role is a senior technical leadership position with broad architectural ownership. You will develop complete DRAM system architectures, impact industry direction, and engage directly with customers and executives to convert complex ideas into scalable products. Responsibilities: Define next-generation memory system builds focusing on performance, capacity, RAS, and telemetry Lead cross-stack co-optimization spanning silicon, package, module, board, and system Architect sophisticated RAS and telemetry features and translate system needs into silicon Drive long-range memory technology strategy and influence industry standards Act as a senior technical liaison to customers, executives, and partners Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or relevant equivalent experience in EE, CE, CS, or a related field Extensive hands-on experience in DRAM or memory systems architecture Deep understanding of DRAM timing, signaling, power, and reliability mechanisms Proven ability to translate system requirements into silicon architecture Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree or PhD, or equivalent experience, in a related technical field Recognized technical leadership influencing multiple products or teams Experience engaging tier-1 customers and ecosystem partners History of architectural innovations adopted into production Job Profile(s): Systems Design Engineering SMTS - Systems Design Engineering SMTS Relocation Level: TBD Before Getting Started Please review Micron’s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs. The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is: $177,000.00 - $387,000.00 a year Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
