Responsible for defining and executing the unified product vision, portfolio strategy, and market positioning for e& money’s payments products and offerings.

The role drives growth by delivering innovative, scalable, and compliant financial products across. A key mandate of this role is leading the international expansion of the product portfolio, ensuring successful localization, regulatory alignment, and competitive differentiation across all e& operating companies and global markets, while delivering a consistent customer experience.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Business Management or related fields
  • 12+ years of financial product development or leadership experience in fintech, financial services, banks or tech domains
  • 8-10 Years in Consumer & Business Fintech products, proven track record in launching and scaling fintech products across multiple domains (i.e. cards, wallets, lending, insurance, B2B)

Strategic Leadership & Vision

  • Support the end-to-end product strategy across e& money consumer and merchant offerings by ensuring alignment with group-level priorities and growth objectives.
  • Execute the strategy of the Group Fintech Center of Excellence from payments product perspectives, driving unified product frameworks, reusable modules, and consistent go-to-market models across markets.
  • Create fintech opportunities (e.g., embedded finance, cross-border payments, open API marketplaces) into viable, scalable product solutions.

Product Development & Innovation

  • Lead product-aligned squads across App, CVM, Payments, and Embedded Finance to deliver modular, scalable, and high-performing products.
  • Champion a fintech-as-a-service product model by developing APIs, SDKs, and embedded capabilities for internal and external partners.
  • Execute monetization strategies through product bundling, platform reuse, and speed-to-market execution.

Market Expansion & Localization

  • Lead the international rollout of e& money products, ensuring they meet the unique regulatory, cultural, and customer needs of each market.
  • Partner with OpCo leadership to adapt product design, pricing, and go-to-market strategies for local competitiveness.
  • Identify and launch new product verticals tailored to high-growth international markets, enhancing customer value and brand presence.
  • Establish a global-to-local product governance model to maintain innovation speed while ensuring market compliance and operational readiness.

Performance Management

  • Define and track KPIs such as app downloads, active users, transaction volumes by product/channel, revenue, EBITDA, and merchant/agent performance.
  • Continuously refine product-market fit using user research, behavioral analytics, and Voice of Customer (VOC) insights.
  • Conduct market and competitive intelligence to inform roadmap prioritization and product positioning.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Serve as a product advisor to the senior leadership teams across e& money, Finco, and OpCos.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with financial institutions, technology providers, and ecosystem players to accelerate product adoption and growth.
  • Represent the product organization internally and externally, promoting innovation, market relevance, and customer value.
  • Partner with the Head of Experience to deliver seamless, conversion-optimized user journeys across all platforms.
  • Embed customer-centric design principles into all product development cycles.

Team Development & Organizational Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a high-performance, multi-country product organization with teams in Egypt, Pakistan, UAE, and other markets.
  • Implement a product talent strategy, ensuring succession planning, career development, and capability building.
