About the role & team 

Build AI that drives real investment decisions. Asset Management’sTech Transformationis a strategic program to modernise our technology platform and fundamentally reshape how investment decisions are made. We combine transactional and analytics data platforms withcloud and AI technologiesto deliver scalable, secure, and high-impact solutions.

 

If you join us, you will be able to participate in a variety of high-impact initiatives. For example, you will: 

• ApplyGenerative AIto make better investment decisions,better assess new investment opportunitiesand/oranalyze signals in financial marketsfrom unstructured data,
• Work acrossproduct + engineering + domain experts,
• Take ideas fromprototype to production, building scalable solutions that are actually used,
• Constantly grow our data foundation platform and apply leading edge concepts, such as metadata or graphs,
• Support many other exciting projects in a collaborative environment with colleagues from Swiss Re Asset Management's international offices. 

 

As part of Swiss Re's Asset Management Data & Technology organization, we work in a scaled agile model with a shared leadership team and broadly aligned autonomy for our squads. You’ll join adedicated Generative AI team within Asset Management, working on production-grade solutions that directly support investment decisions. About You 

To be successful in the role, you bring a strong technical foundation and a curiosity to apply it in real-world settings:

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or related quantitative field. We welcome different levels, including graduates
• Knowledge ofTypescriptand/orPython
• Knowledge in machine learning, statistical modelling and related technologies

 

If you also have the following experience and interests, it is a huge plus: 

• Interest or hands-on experience withLLMs / Generative AI(RAG, evaluation, …)
• Curiosity about howAI can be applied to financial markets and investment decisions
• Interest inagentic AI patterns(tool use, planning, orchestration frameworks)
• Background in software engineering 
• Experience in distributed computing

For Slovakia thebase salary rangefor this position is between [EUR 2,400] and [EUR 4,100] per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:​

• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,​
• the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.​
