Document current entities, attributes, relationships, keys, hierarchies, and business definitions. Identify duplicate entities, inconsistent definitions, and overlapping datasets. Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for the target architecture. Design dimensional models including facts, dimensions, aggregates, and Gold-layer datasets. Support semantic model design for reporting and analytics. Support MDM domain modeling for customer, account, product, reference data, or other domains. Create source-to-target mapping specifications. Work with Business Analysts to validate business definitions and rules. Work with ETL Developers to ensure correct implementation of models. Support reconciliation between existing and target data models. RequirementsTO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU NEEDStrong experience in relational, dimensional, and enterprise data modeling. Experience with DWH, ODS, MDM, lakehouse, and semantic modeling. Strong SQL knowledge. Experience with ERwin, PowerDesigner, SQL Developer Data Modeler, or similar tools. Understanding of facts, dimensions, slowly changing dimensions, keys, hierarchies, and reference data.
