Role Overview:We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our growing team at iCareManager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support our data-driven initiatives. This role will play a key part in enabling analytics, reporting, and AI-driven solutions within the healthcare domain.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelinesBuild and optimize ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured dataDevelop and manage data warehouses and data lakesEnsure data quality, integrity, and availability across systemsCollaborate with product, engineering, and analytics teams to understand data requirementsIntegrate data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, third-party systems)Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and performance bottlenecksImplement data security and compliance best practicesSupport reporting, analytics, and machine learning use casesRequirementsRequired Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field1–3 years of experience in data engineering or a similar roleStrong experience with SQL and database design (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar)Experience with data pipeline tools (e.g., Airflow, Apache Kafka, etc.)Proficiency in Python (or similar programming languages)Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecturesFamiliarity with REST APIs and data integration techniquesPreferred QualificationsExperience in healthcare or health-tech domainExposure to big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)Knowledge of data modeling techniquesExperience supporting AI/ML workflowsFamiliarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)BenefitsOpportunity to work in a fast-growing, AI-driven healthcare environmentCollaborative and growth-oriented cultureCompetitive salary and benefitsFlexible work environment
