Corporate Restructuring Associate - Junior Level
Job description
Skadden’s London Corporate Restructuring group is known for advising companies, boards of directors, sponsors, creditors and creditor groups, acquirers and other stakeholders in the full spectrum of in- and out-of-court restructuring transactions, with a focus on big ticket, complex cross-border matters as well as insolvency related disputes. The group also advises a stable of repeat clients on special situations and structured private capital transactions.
Our team has participated in many of the most complex restructuring transactions and insolvency-related proceedings and is known for developing sophisticated strategies to offer innovative solutions and enhanced value to clients involved in distressed situations.. The group regularly teams up with its U.S. Corporate Restructuring colleagues and works closely with Skadden’s leading M&A, Private Equity, Dispute Resolution, Debt Finance and Capital Markets groups.
Person SpecificationWe are looking for an individual with 1-2 years' relevant post qualification experience in the London market (or experience in a similar common law jurisdiction), although those with less or more relevant experience will be considered on their merits. Excellent written communication and drafting skills are also required as well as the ability to demonstrate initiative. They must also possess the willingness and skillset to take on a high degree of responsibility.
