The Analyst, Healthcare Financial Analytics functions as a junior actuary embedded within the finance team, responsible for the financial analysis of claims and healthcare data across Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) and Health Plans. This role is well suited to a candidate with a strong healthcare finance foundation who holds an actuarial designation (ASA or higher) or is actively pursuing one, and who is looking to grow into broader financial leadership responsibilities within a healthcare finance function.
Position Description:
\u00B7 Perform financial analysis of claims and healthcare financial data for ACOs, Risk Bearing Organizations and Health Plans, including trend analysis, reserve adequacy, and risk-adjusted performance

Qualifications:
\u00B7 Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
\u00B7 Prior healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
\u00B7 Active actuarial exam progress required; candidates who have attained an actuarial designation (ASA) or who are on track to complete one within the next year are preferred
\u00B7 Strong understanding of healthcare finance fundamentals: premium, risk adjustment, IBNR, reserves, and accruals
