What You Will Do

You will independently run and improve key processes, across case triage, data management, reporting, basic risk advice, and knowledge/awareness efforts.You will monitor local inbox (as applicable), run manual checks of systems for contextual information, assign new Engage records, follow-up with specialist teams and advisors as needed, take steps to improve processes where possible, and support best practice transfer.You will ensure the primary data source of truth for our risk case management system remains up to date, including running data quality checks and reconciliation calls with advisors, creating shell cases, and merging cases. You will follow-up on case completion and ensure cases are closed out in a timely way including on cases that require PRACL approval.You will produce standardized and occasional bespoke reports for the region and/or Cells (offices / sectors). You will handle basic risk checks/provide standard advice to CSTs (e.g., basic checks in certain risk areas, or answer Ask Risk type questions from CSTs). You will support non-case related priorities including regional or sector awareness/training, knowledge and regional connectivity. You will provide your colleagues in CSR and other firm functions colleagues advice on leveraging tools (CMS, Engage) and network.Your work will help support the Client Service Risk Function and advisors who work with McKinsey’s Partners and the Client Service Risk Committee (CSRC – a committee of respected Senior Partners and firm functions professionals that advises on the most complex risks). Coordinator work will help to inform how the firm can best serve its clients while managing the risks involved.You will be based in Costa Rica as part of our Client Service Risk Americas team. Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in professional services (including consulting), legal, risk, finance or communications industries is preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and integrity, with interest and/or experience in risk and governance issues
  • Proficiency in basic business software (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Superior organizational skills
