Role Summary:A Contract Engineer is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and managing contracts across engineering, procurement, and construction projects. They ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations while supporting project execution, cost control, and risk management.Key Responsibilities:Contract Preparation & Review: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and service agreements in line with project and legal requirements.Tendering Support: Assist in the preparation of bid documents, tender evaluations, and contract award processes.Risk & Claim Management: Identify potential contractual risks and support claim preparation, dispute resolution, and variation management.Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to contract terms, conditions, and applicable laws/regulations throughout the project lifecycle.Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with clients, consultants, vendors, and legal teams to align contract terms with project needs.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate contract records, logs, and reports for audits and performance tracking.RequirementsExperience Requirements:Experience in EPC, construction, or infrastructure projects.Strong knowledge of FIDIC, NEC, or other standard contract forms.Familiarity with procurement processes, cost estimation, and project controls.Key Skills:Contract drafting and negotiationAttention to detail and legal awarenessStrong communication and coordination skillsAnalytical thinking and problem-solving under pressure
