The Job:

As Engineering Manager, Continuous Improvement, you will join our STANLEY® Engineered Fastening (SEF) team as an onsite employee. You will:

  • Direct, administer, and coordinate activities supporting organizational goals and objectives.
  • Partner with EHS to ensure compliance with OSHA and plant safety policies, and enforce site rules.
  • Maximize efficient use of direct labor, manufacturing equipment, and indirect operations personnel.
  • Monitor production and utilization against plant standards, explain negative variances, and drive improvement.
  • Develop budgets aligned with financial goals.
  • Provide performance planning, coaching, instruction, and feedback to direct reports.
  • Lead large projects and multiple smaller projects efficiently and cost-effectively to enhance profitability.
  • Participate in employee involvement activities.
  • Oversee manufacturing operations to support efficient and profitable facility performance, including building maintenance and related personnel.
  • Share responsibility with Engineering, EHS, Quality, and Manufacturing for safety, equipment purchases, tool/plant/product design, and associated processes.
  • Work with agility across multiple sites.

The Person

You are eager to learn, grow, and contribute in a meaningful way. You also bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, management, or engineering preferred.
  • 5+ years of management experience in manufacturing; controls engineering experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, safety, and quality practices.
  • Demonstrated success developing and leading teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Prior Lean experience preferred.

The Salary range for this position is $77,600.00 - $124,900.00

  • This is the lowest to highest annual full-time salary range we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
