Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off

Job Description: L3Harris Technologies is seeking a candidate to analyze and improve sequences of manufacturing / operations and workflows to improve efficiencies pertaining to cost/schedule control, cost reduction, inventory control, and all phases of production record systems. The candidate will assist with establishing methods for maximum utilization of production processes through improvement initiatives.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides continuous improvement support to manufacturing operations and related functional areas

  • Lead and support improvement efforts directed towards workflow, work sequencing, work area layout, and standardized work

  • Monitor and development improvement efforts to ensure safe and efficient utilization of time, personnel, material, equipment, and capital resources

Qualifications:

  • To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, Quality Sciences, Finance or related field

Preferred Skills:

  • Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Yellow or Green Belt

  • Microsoft Office

  • Simio

PAY TRANSPARENCY:

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $18.50/hr - $36.50/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including relocation stipend, 401(k), EAP, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
