Colorectal Surgery Opportunity - Flowood, MS

Merit Health River Oaks is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) Colorectal Surgeon to join an established, high-volume group practice in Flowood, Mississippi.

This is a turnkey, hospital-employed opportunity to build a specialized colorectal practice while maintaining a component of general surgery call and coverage. You will step into an active practice with an established patient base, strong primary care and gastroenterology referral streams, and robust surgical support. Fellowship training in Colon and Rectal Surgery is required.

• Specialized Scope: Full spectrum of specialized colorectal care, including advanced laparoscopic/robotic procedures, surgical oncology, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), diverticular disease, pelvic floor disorders, and anorectal conditions.
• General Surgery Component: Maintain general surgery skills through shared, manageable call coverage and general surgical cases as needed by the practice.
• Procedures: In-office procedures, dedicated operating room block time, and endoscopic suites.
• Practice Environment: Collaborative, supportive group setting with experienced perioperative and clinical staff.
• Call Schedule: Shared, balanced call schedule covering both colorectal and general surgery needs.
