Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients to determine their functional abilities and challenges.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that focus on improving daily life activities such as dressing, bathing, cooking, and recreational pursuits.
  • Implement therapeutic exercises to enhance stretching, strengthening, and flexibility, aiming to restore joint motion and muscle strength.
  • Provide training in fine motor skills to aid in grasp and release tasks, handwriting, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Address developmental delays and assist patients in performing tasks independently, such as toileting, dressing, and feeding.
  • Work with individuals experiencing sensory and attention difficulties to improve focus and social interaction.
  • Teach anger management techniques and positive coping strategies to those with behavioral challenges.
  • Assess the need for and recommend specialized equipment, including wheelchairs, splints, and communication aids.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a graduate degree in Occupational Therapy (Master’s or Clinical Doctorate).
  • Exceptional organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change and collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
