The position blends strategic business development, technical sales expertise, and regional leadership, working closely with cross-functional teams, channel partners, and key accounts to identify opportunities, build lasting customer relationships, and translate engineering innovation into measurable business results, within a culture that values excellence, authenticity, and results.Our client, a global leader in industrial cooling and heat transfer solutions, is seeking a Business Development Manager, Latin America to accelerate regional growth and strengthen its commercial presence, with a strategic focus on Mexico.This role reports directly to the General Manager in Mexico and works cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Regional Leadership teams.KEY QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTSExperience5+ years of experience in business development or technical sales within Cooling Towers.Established experience working specifically with Cooling Towers systems in commercial or industrial applicationsDemonstrated success developing new business through industry relationships and expanding market share across Latin AmericaStrong network within the Cooling Towers, HVAC, and industrial cooling sectors, with knowledge of regional customers, channels, and market dynamicsAbility to build influence with consultants, contractors, and key decision-makers to drive specifications and project opportunitiesExperience working in cross-functional and multicultural commercial environmentsBackground in value-based selling, pricing strategy, and strategic account managementBilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required; Portuguese is a plusTechnical SkillsStrong technical understanding of Cooling Towers systems, HVAC applications, thermal systems, and heat transfer principlesAbility to translate technical concepts into clear customer value propositionsSkilled in technical presentations, system evaluations, and solution-based discussionsComfortable interpreting engineering data, performance curves, and technical specificationsSolid analytical and financial acumen to evaluate market data, pricing, and business performanceProficiency with CRM tools and digital sales platforms for pipeline and opportunity managementCore CompetenciesEntrepreneurial, self-driven, and adaptable in dynamic business environmentsStrategic thinker with a disciplined, results-oriented mindsetEffective communicator across technical and executive audiencesStrong relationship builder focused on long-term partnershipsCollaborative, culturally aware, and flexible to changing prioritiesOperates with integrity, accountability, and professionalismKEY RESPONSIBILITIESLead and execute regional growth strategies across Latin America, achieving revenue and profitability targetsIdentify, develop, and manage strategic customers, consultants, and channel partners within the Cooling Towers and HVAC marketsSupport project specifications and commercial opportunities related to Cooling Towers solutionsConduct market and competitive analysis to guide data-driven decisionsDevelop and deliver technical and commercial presentations, proposals, and business casesCollaborate with Marketing on product launches, tools, and regional campaignsProvide technical and commercial leadership to key accounts and internal stakeholdersRepresent the company at industry events, conferences, and associationsGENERAL INFORMATIONHybrid position based in Monterrey, N.L., MexicoTravel required approximately 25 to 30 percent across Latin AmericaCompetitive compensation package with performance-based incentivesEqual Opportunity StatementOur client is an Equal Opportunity Organization, committed to fostering an inclusive workplace built on trust, respect, and shared success.
