These roles will be a great learning experience for understanding the development and delivery of a portfolio of products. RequirementsRole / Responsibilities : Software/Product/CX Engineer intern will work with the software engineering , Product and CX teams on software design and development, testing of new features, and supporting software product engineering. Intern will work under the guidance of a senior tech lead. Internship at Hoptek could include a subset of the following: Support product design for new software features and helping develop clear business requirements and software design documentationHelp develop code to support development of features to defined business & architectural requirementsDefine & conduct testing & QA on new code developed, including code for test automation & bug trackingSupport management of databases, and drive data analysis as requiredSupport production code release, manage code pipelines and help tech leads with release of secure & scalable product featuresHelp with program management of Agile sprints, and tracking performance of Sprint burndown metricsTest drive new software tools and processes to improve efficiency and speed of software engineering process​Experience & Skills Required: Enrolled in a BS/MS program in Industrial Engr, Computer Science or related majors Strong critical thinking to help solve problems and find actionable solutionsWillingness to learn and execute core software practices and design patterns from senior tech leadsCuriosity and interest to develop business understanding of industry and other parts of HOPTEKPassionate about professional growth and self-improvement via constructive feedbackAbout us: The world of management consulting is changing rapidly with the rapid explosion of data, cloud computing and advanced analytics.
