Job Description:

BioMarin is seeking a highly motivated Revenue Accountant\u00A0to join\u00A0our\u00A0Global Revenue Accounting Team. The successful candidate\u00A0will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial reporting\u00A0and will be responsible for\u00A0supporting\u00A0gross to net adjustments, month end\u00A0close activities, contract review\u00A0and rebate processing. The Revenue Accountant\u00A0will support\u00A0multiple functions across the Business including Commercial, Legal, Market Access and Finance. This role requires a strong understanding of\u00A0US GAAP\u00A0ASC 606, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Month and quarter-end close activities, including\u00A0GTN accrual preparation, balance sheet\u00A0reconciliations\u00A0and\u00A0financial\u00A0reporting.
  • Validate and process\u00A0rebate claims\u00A0in accordance with\u00A0commercial contracts\u00A0and accruals.
  • Assist with review and analysis of Commercial Contracts under ASC\u00A0606 to ensure appropriate revenue\u00A0recognition treatment
  • Support revenue reporting to the Business and\u00A0collaborate with\u00A0Legal, Market Access, Commercial Operations and Finance for\u00A0ex-US\u00A0commercial and payer contract structure to assess revenue recognition impact under ASC\u00A0606.
  • Support the year-end financial audit and the SOX audit.\u00A0Assist with preparation of SEC Reports for 10Q filing.\u00A0
  • Assist with ad hoc financial analysis, queries and activities as required.
  • Work closely with Finance colleagues both locally and globally, adhering to global deadlines.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in revenue accounting or a similar finance role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with Sarbanes Oxley and internal controls\u00A0is desirable.
  • Experience\u00A0with SAP S4 Hana\u00A0/ Vistex\u00A0is\u00A0advantageous.
  • Results\u00A0orientated, flexible, resourceful, & self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple deliverables.

BioMarin is seeking a highly motivated Revenue Accountant\u00A0to join\u00A0our\u00A0Global Revenue Accounting Team. The successful candidate\u00A0will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial reporting\u00A0and will be responsible for\u00A0supporting\u00A0gross to net adjustments, month end\u00A0close activities, contract review\u00A0and rebate processing. The Revenue Accountant\u00A0will support\u00A0multiple functions across the Business including Commercial, Legal, Market Access and Finance. This role requires a strong understanding of\u00A0US GAAP\u00A0ASC 606, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

\u00A0

  • Month and quarter-end close activities, including\u00A0GTN accrual preparation, balance sheet\u00A0reconciliations\u00A0and\u00A0financial\u00A0reporting.
  • Validate and process\u00A0rebate claims\u00A0in accordance with\u00A0commercial contracts\u00A0and accruals.
  • Assist with review and analysis of Commercial Contracts under ASC\u00A0606 to ensure appropriate revenue\u00A0recognition treatment
  • Support revenue reporting to the Business and\u00A0collaborate with\u00A0Legal, Market Access, Commercial Operations and Finance for\u00A0ex-US\u00A0commercial and payer contract structure to assess revenue recognition impact under ASC\u00A0606.
  • Support the year-end financial audit and the SOX audit.\u00A0Assist with preparation of SEC Reports for 10Q filing.\u00A0
  • Assist with ad hoc financial analysis, queries and activities as required.
  • Work closely with Finance colleagues both locally and globally, adhering to global deadlines.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in revenue accounting or a similar finance role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with Sarbanes Oxley and internal controls\u00A0is desirable.
  • Experience\u00A0with SAP S4 Hana\u00A0/ Vistex\u00A0is\u00A0advantageous.
  • Results\u00A0orientated, flexible, resourceful, & self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple deliverables.

  • Degree\u00A0in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
