We are seeking a skilled and proactive Business Intelligence Analyst to join our global IT training organisation on a 6-month contract basis. This role will support the Data Team by transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive commercial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making across the business. The successful candidate will work closely with global stakeholders to analyse data trends, build dashboards, and provide insight that supports growth, customer engagement, and training outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesCollect, clean, validate, and analyse large and complex datasets from multiple sourcesDevelop, maintain, and optimise dashboards and reports to track key business and performance metricsPartner with the Data Team and cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Product) to understand reporting needsTranslate business questions into clear analytical approaches and data solutionsDeliver ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives, forecasting, and performance trackingIdentify trends, risks, and opportunities within learner, revenue, and operational dataPresent insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and documentation across reports and dashboardsKey Performance MeasuresAccuracy, reliability, and timeliness of reporting and analysisVolume and quality of actionable insights delivered to stakeholdersMeasurable improvements driven by data-led recommendationsStakeholder satisfaction with dashboards, reports, and data supportContribution to team objectives, KPIs, and broader business goalsReporting & Visualisation ToolsAdvanced SQL for data extraction and manipulationStrong Tableau experience for interactive dashboards and storytellingWorking knowledge of Power BI for business reportingSolid Excel capability for data preparation and analysisRequirementsMinimum Professional ExperienceStrong blend of BA & Technical, with the backdrop of being able to operate with the degree of ambiguity/ development we require with our data/systems3+ years’ experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or a related roleAble to clearly explain approach to both SQL and data-related questions and demonstrate a solid understanding of data modelling, transformations, and analytical logic.Ability to write SQL and translate it into Power BI.They also need to be able to document the process.We need someone with some technical experience, but also strong business skills, to gather requirements and translate them back to technical requirements.Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and transformationExperience working with tools for analysis, automation, or modellingWorking/ development experience in DataBricks and QlikView.Advanced Excel skills for analysis, validation, and reportingHands-on experience with Tableau and/or Power BIProven analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilityStrong communication skills with the ability to explain insights clearlyBeneficial Certifications & QualificationsCertified Data Analyst (CDA) or equivalentTableau Desktop Specialist or Tableau Certified Data AnalystMicrosoft Certified: Data Analyst AssociateGoogle Data Analytics Professional CertificateDegree (or higher) in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or related fieldBenefitsWhy Join UsWork remotely with a global IT training businessCollaborate with an experienced international data teamGain exposure to global datasets and stakeholdersFlexible, contract-based role with immediate impactWe are seeking a skilled and proactive Business Intelligence Analyst to join our global IT training organisation on a 6-month contract basis.
