Global AVS Digital Architect Sr. Leader – International Markets

As the Global AVS Digital Architect Sr. Leader, you will lead the strategy and execution of digital integrations across Alcon's connected ecosystem. You'll drive interoperability between medical devices, digital health solutions, and healthcare systems while leading a team of Digital Experts across international markets.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of digital integration professionals.
• Drive AVS connectivity and interoperability strategies across international markets.
• Oversee integrations involving DICOM, HL7, FHIR, EHR/EMR, PACS, cloud, and network technologies.
• Ensure successful customer implementations, operational readiness, and issue resolution.
• Partner with Commercial, R&D, Engineering, IT, Security, and customers to deliver world-class digital solutions.
• Establish KPIs and drive continuous improvement in customer experience and integration performance.

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in healthcare technology, systems integration, digital health, or enterprise IT.
• 7+ years of leadership experience managing technical or customer-facing teams.
• Experience with healthcare interoperability standards (DICOM, HL7, FHIR) and healthcare IT systems.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel up to 30%.

Preferred:

• Experience with connected medical devices, SaaS, or digital health platforms.
• Certifications such as AWS, Cisco, PMP, Agile, HL7, or FHIR.
• Knowledge of GDPR, HIPAA, cybersecurity, and healthcare data privacy requirements.
• Spanish, French, Portuguese, or German language skills.
