Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our Nairobi office. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and client-focused professional to lead audit engagements and contribute to the growth of a dynamic practice.About the RoleThe Audit Manager will be responsible for overseeing audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring high-quality delivery, compliance with auditing standards, and effective supervision of audit teams. You will also play a key role in client management and supporting continuous improvement in audit quality and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesLead audit engagements from planning to completionIdentify and assess key audit risks and ensure appropriate audit procedures are performedReview audit working papers, financial statements, and supporting documentationSupervise, mentor, and develop junior audit staffManage timelines and ensure timely completion of audit filesLiaise with clients, finance teams, and senior stakeholdersPrepare and review management letters, audit findings, and completion reportsEnsure compliance with applicable auditing, accounting, and regulatory standardsContribute to improvements in audit methodologies, tools, and internal quality controlsRequirementsMinimum 5 years’ audit experience within an audit or professional services firmExperience in a top 10 or reputable audit practice in Kenya or equivalentStrong experience managing audit assignments and reviewing audit filesSolid understanding of audit planning, risk assessment, and completion processesExperience preparing or reviewing statutory financial statementsStrong knowledge of auditing and accounting standardsQualificationsCPA (Kenya), ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA or equivalent qualificationCandidates close to qualification will also be considered.DesirableExperience with Kenyan statutory audits and KRA complianceKnowledge of the Companies Act (Kenya) and local reporting requirementsExperience with audit software or paperless audit systemsExposure to SMEs, group audits, or international clientsFamiliarity with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Zoho BooksWhat We OfferProfessional development and career growth opportunitiesStudy support (exam leave, training, and exam fee contributions subject to agreement)Exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients and audit engagementsIdeal CandidateA confident, organized, and detail-oriented audit professional with strong leadership skills, excellent client communication abilities, and the capability to manage multiple audit assignments while maintaining high standards of quality.Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our Nairobi office.
