Our client, a world leader in biotechnology and life sciences, is looking for a “Associate Scientist” based out of San Diego, CA. Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)Pay Rate: $46/hr on W2 Company Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Sick leave, 401KJob Summary:This role is to support analytical development and characterization activities for CAR-T cell therapy products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in immunology, cell-based assays, flow cytometry, and cell culture within a biotech or cell therapy environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform cell-based assays and product characterization studiesSupport assay development, optimization, qualification, and validationConduct flow cytometry, ELISA/Luminex, and T-cell functional assaysSupport GMP release testing and QC assay transfersMaintain accurate laboratory documentation and write SOPs/reportsAnalyze and present scientific data to cross-functional teamsSupport cell culture processes and analytical testing activitiesRequirementsBS/MS in Biology, Immunology, Cell Biology, or related field5+ years of biotech or relevant laboratory experienceHands-on experience with flow cytometry, immunoassays, and cell cultureExperience with T-cell biology and cell-based assaysPreferredCAR-T or cell therapy industry experienceExperience with ELISA, Luminex, qPCR, or ddPCRExposure to GMP/QC environments and assay transfer activitiesExperience drafting SOPs and supporting assay validation/DoE studiesIf interested, please send us your updated resume at hr@dawarconsulting.com/lakshmi@dawarconsulting.com
