Retail Distribution Hang Seng's Retail Distribution focuses on personal wealth management and financial services. Our one-stop wealth management initiatives are designed for both our affluent and mass integrated account customers. With around 254 branches and automated banking centres, including around 50 Prestige Banking Centres for our high-end personal customers, we serve over half of the adult population in Hong Kong while offering an extensive range of products to our valued customers. We are currently seeking a high-calibre professional to join our team as Associate Relationship Manager, to undergo a structured training in order to develop a wide-spectrum of retail banking product knowledge and pave way for further career development as Relationship Manager.

Principal responsibilities

• Deliver professional and welcoming service to branch customers.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable banking solutions.
• Support account opening, account servicing and everyday banking enquiries.
• Identify business opportunities and make appropriate referrals to Relationship Managers and specialist teams.
• Participate in branch campaigns and customer-acquisition activities.

Requirements

• University Degree or Associate Degree holders; or HKCEE/HKDSE holders with at least one year of working experience.
• IIQE Papers 1, 2 and 3, or equivalent qualifications, are required. Candidates must meet the applicable regulatory and licensing requirements before performing regulated insurance activities.
• Strong interest in customer service, sales and retail banking.
• Good communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in English and Chinese; Putonghua is an advantage.
• Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
