The Spectacles team is developing the next generation of augmented reality hardware. Our R&D teams design custom AI ASICs optimised for performance and power efficiency in advanced silicon nodes.

We’re looking for an experienced ASIC Design Verification Engineer to help ensure the quality and reliability of these designs.

You’ll join an international team working on complex silicon for AI, camera, display, and AR applications.

Location: Paris, France or Eindhoven, Netherlands

Work model: Onsite - 4 days per week in the office

What you’ll do

• Own verification of complex IP blocks and subsystems from specification through sign-off.
• Build and maintain UVM/SystemVerilog verification environments.
• Develop constrained-random tests, coverage plans, assertions, and verification strategies.
• Drive functional and code coverage to closure.
• Partner closely with design, architecture, firmware, and other engineering teams to refine requirements and debug issues.
• Improve verification methodologies, tools, automation, and workflows across the team.
• Explore practical ways to use AI-assisted tools to improve verification productivity and effectiveness.

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of experience in ASIC or SoC design verification.
• Strong hands-on experience with SystemVerilog, UVM, constrained-random verification, and coverage-driven verification.
• Experience building UVM verification environments from the ground up.
• Strong understanding of RTL and digital design fundamentals.
• Experience with one or more of the following:AI/ML accelerators or NPUsImage or video processing pipelinesCamera or display IPMIPI or related high-speed peripheral interfacesCustom silicon architectures
• Familiarity with modern simulation and debug tools, ideally including Synopsys front-end tools.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD-based development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Comfortable taking ownership and working independently in a fast-moving engineering environment.
