Job description

At NiCE, we don’t limit our challenges. We challenge our limits. Always. We’re ambitious. We’re game changers. And we play to win. We set the highest standards and execute beyond them. And if you’re like us, we can offer you the ultimate career opportunity that will light a fire within you.

Product Manager – Public Safety & Justice

What’s This Role All About?

We’re looking for a technology-focused Product Manager to help build and launch enterprise software solutions for the Public Safety and Justice market.

You’ll work closely with customers, engineering, R&D, and business stakeholders to understand real-world problems, identify opportunities, define what should be built, and take products from concept through development and into the market.

This is a hands-on product role for someone who enjoys solving complex customer problems and turning those problems into products that deliver real value. Experience in Public Safety and Justice is highly valued, but we’re open to strong product leaders from other enterprise technology environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead product discovery to understand customer needs, market opportunities, and business problems.
  • Define product vision, requirements, user stories, and priorities.
  • Partner closely with engineering and R&D to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
  • Own products through the development lifecycle and external market launch.
  • Develop and prioritize product roadmaps based on customer value, market opportunity, business goals, and technical feasibility.
  • Conduct market and competitive research to identify opportunities and product gaps.
  • Work with customers and internal stakeholders to validate product direction and requirements.
  • Help define go-to-market plans and support successful product launches.
  • Use customer feedback, market data, and product performance to continuously improve the product.
  • Stay current on enterprise technology trends and identify opportunities to incorporate new capabilities into products.

What You’ll Need

  • 3+ years of professional Product Management experience in software or enterprise technology. Candidates with less than 3 years of product management experience will not meet the minimum requirement.
  • Proven experience launching new software products or significant new products/features to external customers and the market. Internal tools or internal-only launches do not meet this requirement.
  • Experience owning products through discovery, development, launch, and ongoing improvement.
  • Strong technical understanding and the ability to work effectively with engineering and R&D teams.
  • Experience gathering customer requirements and translating them into clear product requirements and priorities.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise software and complex customer environments.
  • Ability to balance customer needs, business objectives, technical feasibility, and market opportunities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in Public Safety and Justice technology.
  • Experience working with:
  • 911 / emergency communications
  • Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD)
  • Records Management Systems (RMS)
  • Digital evidence
  • Law enforcement technology
  • Justice or case management systems
  • Government or public-sector technology
  • Experience building enterprise SaaS products.
  • Experience working in complex or highly regulated industries.
  • Experience conducting competitive analysis and market research.

What Makes This Role Different?

You won’t just be managing an existing backlog. You’ll have the opportunity to identify real customer problems, shape new products, and bring those products to market.

You’ll work across customers, engineering, R&D, and business teams to turn complex needs into enterprise solutions that have a meaningful impact on Public Safety and Justice organizations.
