As anAI Deployment Strategist with Science Focus, you will drive the adoption and deployment of Mistral's AI solutions forscience-heavy projects, working closely with customers from strategic vision to production implementation in domains likecomputer vision, robotics, and embodied AI.
This role sits at the intersection ofdeep technical expertise, business strategy, and hands-on deployment, ensuring our customers achieve transformative outcomes inspecialized AI applications.
You will partner with senior executives to design AI roadmaps forscience-driven use cases, collaborate with the Applied AI and Research teams to deliver solutions in production, and ensure seamless transitions from presales to postsales. Your work will directly contribute to expanding Mistral's capabilities incutting-edge AI domains.

What you will do
Strategic Discovery & Vision Setting
Lead executive-level workshops to identifyscience-specific business challengesand opportunities where Mistral's AI can drive step-change improvements invision, robotics, embodied AI, and other specialized domains.
Co-create AI adoption roadmaps with customers, articulating the "art of the possible" inscience applicationsand a clear path to value.
Collaborate with Account Executives to develop business cases fortechnically complex, science-driven solutions, quantify ROI, and align with customer objectives.
AI Solution Design & Deployment (Science Focus)
Architect end-to-end AI solutionsfor specialized domains, integrating Mistral's models and platform intoscience-specific workflowsand technical infrastructure.
Partner with theApplied AI and Research teamsto design, prototype, and deployscience-focused AI solutionsin production, ensuring scalability and impact.
Own the execution ofscience-heavy pilot projectsand proofs-of-value, demonstrating the potential of our technology inspecialized domainsand paving the way for full-scale deployment.
Value Realization & Customer Success
Serve as a trusted advisor to customers onscience-driven AI strategies, ensuring they maximize the value of their investment in Mistral's specialized capabilities.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) tied totechnical and business outcomesin science domains, and communicate progress to executive sponsors.
Proactively identify expansion opportunities within accounts forscience applications, building on initial successes to drive long-term partnerships.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as the bridge between customers and Mistral'sResearch and Applied AI teams, synthesizing feedback to influencescience-focused product and research roadmaps.
Develop reusable assets, best practices, and playbooks forscience domain deploymentsto scale go-to-market efforts.
Travel (~30-60%) to foster deep client relationships and supporton-site deployment of specialized solutions.
About you
2+ yearsin aclient-facing technical role(e.g., data science consulting, research engineering, or technical sales) withstrong background in AI science domains(computer vision, robotics, embodied AI, etc.)
You hold adegree in a scientific field(e.g., Computer Science, Robotics, Physics, Mathematics) -PhD is a plus
Deep technical knowledgeof AI/ML/Data Science withspecialization in science domains, and the credibility to advisehighly technical audiences
Hands-on experiencebuilding and deployingscience-focused AI applications(Python, C++, or similar) to demonstrate value in specialized domains
Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills, with the ability totranslate complex technical conceptsinto business value
Executive presence and communication skills to influence senior stakeholders (VP, C-level) ontechnically advanced solutions
Hands-on experience building and deploying AI applications (Python) inscience domains
Resilient, results-driven, and comfortable leading through influence in ahighly technical, collaborative environment
Experience withresearch-to-production transitionsand working with research teams is a plus
