Job Overview 综述

The I&E engineer is responsible for ensuring the compliant, safe, reliable, and efficient operation of site equipment.

Responsibilities 职责

  • Daily Maintenance management
    • In charge of the daily management and maintenance of the whole plant instruments, automatic control systems, and electric power systems, ensuring smooth and safe operation. Quickly respond to troubleshooting and restore equipment in time.
  • Training & Coaching
    • Responsible for developing and revising I&E operation procedures and best practices, and providing training to I&E technicians to enhance their skills and competencies.
  • Project Participation
    • Responsible for developing technical requirements for new I&E equipment, reviewing design proposals, and implementing quality assurance plans for new equipment.
  • Reliability Improvement
    • Reliability Improvement: Lead daily I&E-related breakdown analysis, take corrective and preventive actions to reduce downtime as much as possible. Manage the preventive and predictive maintenance system and ensure that all electrical, instrument, and control systems are functioning well.
    • Ensure all instruments are properly calibrated and documented per regulations and corporate requirements.

    • Qualifications 要求

  • Bachelor degree or above, majoring in automation or electrical engineering.

  • At least 3 years of relevant electrical engineering experience in a large manufacturing plant. Experience in the chemical industry is preferred, especially with extruders.
  • Strong self-learning ability.
  • Familiar with PLC and inverter technology; experience with Siemens is preferred.
  • Familiar with national electrical standards.
  • Familiar with industrial automation theory and power systems.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety and project management.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English.
